Visitors to the US-Mexico border often zoom through Nogales, Arizona to get to Mexico. But the town has a rich heritage and history. Despite the economic blows of NAFTA and 9/11, local activists and entrepreneurs are working to bring the town back to life.
Join SFA and Stephanie Bermudez, Nogales-born entrepreneur, for a tour and talk on new innovations in Nogales, Arizona. Visit the weekly Farmers’ Market for dinner then tour the downtown area to understand how the town is working to revitalize through re-investment, collaboration, and innovation.
This is a walking tour, so dress appropriately.
